Paper Quality: Use high-quality photographic paper (glossy, low-gloss, or matte).
Do Not Use: Inkjet printers, plain paper, or heavily backed thermal paper that may crack.
Condition: Photos must be clear, in focus, and free of red-eye or reflected light on the face.
Photo Composition & Appearance
Recency: Photos must be taken within the last 6 months.
Expression: Maintain a neutral expression with eyes open and mouth closed (no smiling or frowning).
Positioning: Face the camera directly; do not tilt your head. Your head must be centred with a clear gap visible around the top and sides.
Background: Use a plain, light-coloured background (e.g., light grey, blue, or cream). Pure white is not recommended.
Glasses: Prescription glasses are allowed if they have clear lenses (no tint), thin frames, and no glare or reflection.
Head Coverings: Only permitted for religious or medical reasons; your face must still be fully visible from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead.
