Head Height: The distance from the chin to the top of the head (crown) must be between 32mm and 36mm.
Recency: The photo must have been taken within the last 6 months.
Resolution: Must be high-resolution, clear, and sharp. Digital files for online submission should typically be in JPG/JPEG format (24-bit RGB) with a recommended resolution of 413 x 531 pixels.
2. Background & Lighting
Color: Solid, plain white background only.
Shadows: There must be no shadows on the face or the background.
Lighting: Must be even, with no reflections or "red-eye" effects.
3. Facial Expression & Posture
Expression: A neutral expression is required. The mouth must be closed (no teeth showing).
Eyes: Must be open, looking directly at the camera. Hair must not cover the eyes or eyebrows.
Posture: The face and shoulders must be centered and square to the camera (no tilting).
4. Clothing & Accessories
Clothing:Avoid wearing white clothing, as it must contrast with the white background.
Eyewear: * Glasses are permitted if the eyes are clearly visible and there is no glare on the lenses.
Frames must not cover any part of the eyes.
Tinted lenses and sunglasses are strictly prohibited.
Headgear: Hats, headbands, or decorative hair accessories are not allowed.
Religious/Medical Attire: Head coverings (like hijabs) are permitted for religious or medical reasons, provided the entire face from the forehead to the chin is clearly visible.
5. Infants (Under 24 Months)
The same technical standards for dimensions and head size apply.
The child must be alone in the photo (no toys, pacifiers, or visible hands of a parent).
A slightly open mouth is generally acceptable for infants who cannot yet keep their mouths closed.
6. Prohibited Alterations
Retouching: Digital alterations or filters that change the applicant's appearance are strictly prohibited.
Distortion: The photo must accurately reflect the applicant’s natural skin tone and features.
